Friday, 15 June The most senior citizens (Male and Female) have been honored as well as felicitated in the program. In the program the executive member of National Senior Citizens Network, Dr. Gauri Shankar Lal Das felicitated the senior citizens by providing them with flowers, shawls and stick. The felicitated senior woman was Ms. Danda Kumari Chapagain (90 yrs) and senior man was Mr. Kamal Prasad Chapagain (88 yrs) reciding at the Gothatar village.

Mr. Manohar Upreti the vice-chairperson of the (NESOV) threw light upon the important of the program and Ms. Rita Pant delivered the welcome speech. The program was successfully carried out in the mass presence of the local people.

Capitol Rotunda Friday, 15 June 10 a. m. with a reception to follow Highlights of this year's rally are recognition of the oldest and youngest volunteers that work with the elderly; Kentucky State Police Trooper and "TOP COP" nominee Scott King; NAPSA nominee Tim Rees; and the Pioneers in forming the first Local Coordinating Councils on Elder Abuse in Kentucky: Urban Model - Louisville Metro and Rural Model - Union County. There will also be the unveiling of the Elder Abuse License Plate Initiative as well as acknowledging the Regional winner of the Kentucky River Schools Elder Abuse Awareness Project and all 42 local elder abuse councils in the Commonwealth.
